Piscataway, New Jersey – September 27, 2010 - Bravo! Group Services is pleased to announce today that the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) has selected Brenda S. Brown of Bravo! as the 2009 BSCAI Building Service Employee of the Year representing one of the industry's most prestigious individual honors.
This award demonstrates Brenda’s 15-year dedication to the custodial field and is a testament to her strong work ethic and commitment to the betterment of the industry. Her daily perseverance makes Brenda a true role model for all building service contractors. Mark Schnurr, Bravo’s Senior Vice President was proud to nominate Brenda for Custodian of the Year and was overwhelmed with excitement for her. He stated that “Brenda exemplifies exactly the type of employee that any company would love to have!”
Brenda works at AT&T in Norfolk, Virginia. Her customer, Dale Sutherland, AT&T Building Operations Manager sent a commendation letter to Mark describing the outstanding support that Brenda has provided, and continues to provide, to AT&T for over 15 years. He commented on how she always goes above-and-beyond the requirements of her job and steps up to provide assistance in any way that she can (without even being asked). Mr. Sutherland stated that, “Brenda is the eyes and ears of our building. She is not just another contractor, Brenda is a trusted and admired co-worker. Everyone in the building looks forward to seeing her every day!”
This is the most prestigious award offered to an employee in the cleaning industry. BSCAI (Building Service Contractors Association International) awards one employee each year for being the top Custodian in the industry. The award is bestowed to the person who contributes to their role by performing the functions of their job above and beyond at all times, exhibits loyalty and dedication to their customer and is recognized as an integral member of their team. Brenda will be flown to Orlando, Florida in November to attend the 2010 BSCAI Annual Convention where BSCAI will present her with a monetary award, a plaque and medallion acknowledging this outstanding achievement.
