BRAVO! Group Services, Inc. is pleased to announce today that James Vosburg, Regional Vice President, has been recognized by the American Hospital Association as a Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP).
Founded in 1898, The American Hospital Association (AHA) provides education for health care leaders and is a source of information on health care issues and trends.
The CHESP program consists of three components. The first is eligibility requirements which are a blend of education and experience. The second is a 110 multiple-choice Certification Examination on the following content: regulatory compliance, planning design and construction, operations related to environmental sanitation, operations related to waste management, operations related to textile management, financial stewardship and administration. The third component is a renewal requirement.
The CHESP certification is valid for three years at which time it must be renewed by retaking and passing the Certification Examination or documenting 45 contact hours of continuing professional education.
By passing the rigorous examination and satisfying all of the stringent criteria, Mr. Vosburg is one of the elite professionals in the critical field of healthcare.
